A comprehensive Ayurveda treatment for the eyes
Netra Tarpanam otherwise called Akshi Tarpana is one of the best and most efficient Ayurvedic treatment that focus on maintaining eye health and rejuvenating eyes. We use the dough of black gram flour to make a ring around your eyes in this procedure. The patient is allowed to rest straight in a comfortable position on the treatment table. A ring-shaped dam is prepared from the dough and is positioned around the eye socket. The prescribed medicated ghee or milk is slowly poured into the dough ring, so that the eyes are soaked with the medicine. The patient suggested to blink the eyes at frequent intervals. At the end of the treatment, the ghee and dough are removed, and eyes are washed with a herbal decoction
